Erlangen, Germany, May 26, 2022 – Together with Matthias Wilson – known from GOSINTCon – Traversals will contribute to this year’s annual meeting of the Security Cooperation Cybercrime 2022. The Security Cooperation Cybercrime has existed since 2011 between Bitkom and various state criminal investigation departments.

Following the title “Artificial intelligence in use against crime – just art or intelligent?“, we will discuss on May 31, 2022, to what extent Artificial Intelligence can help in the field of OSINT-based analysis.

With his presentation “A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words – Targeted Investigations on Social Media”, Matthias will address OSINT-based personal investigations where Artificial Intelligence reaches its limits. Based on findings from the Prometheus AI project, Dirk Kolb will present the counterpart and show to what extent OSINT-based real-time situation pictures can very well benefit from Artificial Intelligence.
